One more time the Woman's Club celebrated St. Patrick's Day on March 12 with a corned beef and cabbage luncheon catered by Valley Caterers. Mr. Music, John LaRosa entertained us with his keyboard playing St. Patty's favorite tunes. A bit of line dancing was fun. We must thank our Hospitality Committee and bakers for all the great treats. Thanks to Ann Puglisi, Estelle Quednau, Theresa Fantano and Marie Pursino who coordinated this affair.

A short business meeting was called to order. The Pledge of Allegiance, a song America the Beautiful and Invocation by Norma Snedeker opened the meeting. Minutes were accepted and treasury report read by Emily VanDamm. Edith Grant reminded us that she was taking reservations for the April 30 Atlantic City bus trip. Cost is $30. Mickey Hesselbach will chair the Nominating Committee to prepare a Slate of Officers for next year's executive board. Her committee is Louise Milano, Helen Burnick and Jo Migliore. Phyllis Bellero who handles the raffle announced she had four $5 winners. We sang Happy Birthday to members celebrating their day.

Five members attended the LI Federation of Women's Clubs Conference at Coral House. All presidents give a yearly report on their club's activities. It is very interesting and impressive hearing all the club's accomplishments each year. A program was presented by Ms. Senior America. The singers and dancers are so talented. These seniors will be performing on May 1 on the Today Show, Good Morning America and Eye Witness News to start off the National Osteoporosis Month.

Remember to vote on the library budget on April 3. Mark your calendar next meeting April 9. Pizza party and an auction. Bring one of your treasures to be auctioned off so we can continue our June Student Scholarships Awards.
