Gulotta Seeks Reform of Traffic Parking and Violations Agency
Nassau County Executive Thomas S. Gulotta has called on the New York State Legislature to amend the general municipal law to transfer operation and control of the Nassau County Traffic Parking and Violations Agency (TPVA) to the county.

Tennis Tournament Benefits The Hungry
It's amazing but true: a tennis ball struck on Long Island can have a positive impact upon hungry children around the world. For the past 20 years, tennis players on Long Island have been serving up winners in the battle against world hunger. Since the summer of 1981, Stop World Hunger's tennis programs have raised more than $60,000 to feed hungry children. All funds are forwarded to Catholic Relief Services and are used where the need is greatest regardless of race, religion, and/or nationality.
