Nassau County Legislator John J. Ciotti recently congratulated the Long Island Track and Field Athlete of the Year, Marc Crosswell and recognized him in front of the full legislature. Marc has served as captain of the track and field team at Elmont Memorial High School for three seasons. Marc has earned county and state championship medals in the 16 hundred and 32 hundred meter races. In addition to being named Athlete of the Year by the coaches, Marc was given the prestigious T. Redmond McKenna Memorial Award given by the Track and Fiend and Cross-Country Officials Association to whom the officials vote their Athlete of the Year is in Nassau County.
