Hofstra University presents The Celebrity Challenge featuring the cast and crew of One Life to Live. Meet and greet the cast of ABC studio's One Life to Live on Saturday, July 15, at noon. The actual game will begin at 1 p.m. on the Women's Softball Field. Soap Opera stars Ty Treadway (Dr. Colin MacIver) and John Bolger (John Sykes) will play softball and volleyball, along with the rest of the cast, for two wonderful causes. All proceeds will go to benefit the Hofstra Scholarship Fund and the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, which provides a temporary home for families of seriously ill children being treated at area hospitals. The soap opera stars will be challenging the Business Cares For Kids Sports Festival champions.
Fans will get an opportunity to get signatures from their favorite opera stars. There will also be a silent auction and an opportunity to win raffle prizes. Admission is $10 and all proceeds will go to benefit the Hofstra Scholarship Fund and the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island. Tickets are available through advance sales.
