Thomas P. Farley, 85, of Franklin Square, died on April 6, 2000. Born in Harlem, he attended high school in the Bronx and joined the US Coast Guard in 1942 serving as a machinist mate first class during WWII. Mr. Farley worked for the NY Journal American's publication office and later started his own home floor waxing business. He retired when he was 65. Husband of Ruth. Father of Thomas, Brian and Patricia McGonigle. Grandfather of Kaitelyn, Meagan and John. Services at St. Catherine of Sienna RC Church. Interment St. Charles Cemetery. Gilbert Tockerman, 83, a resident of Boynton Beach, FL for four years, formerly of Little Neck, died on April 28, 2000. Beloved husband of Elaine. Loving father of Yale, Sheryl, Elsie and Debra. Father-in-law of James and Marty. Devoted Poppy of Jan-Michael, Christopher, Anthony, Rachel, Gabby and Adam. He will remain in our hearts forever.
