Immediate and summer lifeguard positions are currently available with the Nassau County Department of Recreation and Parks.

Qualified lifeguards must be Nassau County residents, 16 years of age or over, with Nassau County Health Department Lifeguard Certifications and CPR Certifications. In addition to the Nassau County Health Department Lifeguard Certification and CPR Certification, all first-time lifeguards must have completed an approved Lifeguard Training Course. Additional consideration will be given to Water Safety Instructors.

Positions are available at five outdoor pools including Cantiague Park in Hicksville, Christopher Morley Park in Roslyn-North Hills, North Woodmere Park, Wantagh Park and Whitney Pond Park in Manhasset, and Eisenhower Park Swimming and Diving Center in East Meadow.
