Joseph P. Morrow, 89, formerly of Elmont, died on March 24, 2000. He was born in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn the youngest of 13 children. He left high school and worked at NY Telephone Company. He later became a troubleshooter for the phone company. He retired in 1974. Mr. Morrow was head usher and a member of the Holy Name Society at St. Joachim in Queens Village and St. Boniface Parish in Elmont. He played Santa Claus for community children. Husband of Alicia (McMahon). Father of Dennis, Joseph, James, Rosemary Walsh and Edmund. Grandfather of 19. Great-grandfather of five. Interment St. Charles Cemetery. Doreen Winslow, formerly of Elmont, died on March 25, 2000. Wife of Peter. Daughter of Mary McDonough. Mother of Scott Elsner. Sister of Meredith McDonough.
