The Belmont Stakes Fair will return for its third year to Belmont Park Racetrack in Elmont. The fair will be bigger and better than ever featuring more than 100 spectacular rides, games, free attractions and entertainment for families to enjoy. The fair gives families a chance to celebrate spring every weekend from Friday, April 21 through Sunday, May 7.
Fairgoers will sense the thrill and excitement of the spectacular carnival midway which includes the amazing 200 ft. Mark I roller coaster, the incredible G-force ride and the Niagara Falls log flume.
Back by popular demand, the attraction that must be seen to believe, if Randall's Racing and High Diving Pigs. Cheer on your favorite to win.
Join in the fun each day as the Star Family Circus performs on the giant space wheel and thrills audiences with aerial and high wire acts. Each show concludes with hilarious canines, jugglers and clowns.
Young and old alike will be delighted with the comedic antics of the Wild West follies, which includes whip cracking, rope spinning and animated characters.
The Granpa Cratchet Puppet Show encourages audience participation to teach a lesson while always having a fun time during this slapstick show. Catch Granpa between shows driving around the fairgrounds in his puppetmobile.
The Ag-Venture Farm Tour, a live interactive farm animal exhibit is sure to entertain and educate all fairgoers. The exhibit features milking demonstrations, a chick hatchery, antique farm equipment, and lots of goats, sheep, calves, rabbits, chickens and pigs to pet and feed. Become a contestant in the Farm Quiz Show and test your agricultural knowledge with questions like - do you know how many eggs a chicken lays in a year?
Try to keep ahead of the Reptiles on the Move. This hands-on exhibit of reptiles and amphibians will be on display on May 6 and 7 only.
Parents are encouraged to stop by with their children at the United Children's Fund booth for free fingerprinting of children and receive a free safety tips brochure.

Sponsored by the New York Racing Association, the Belmont Stakes Fair will be held at Belmont Park Racetrack in Elmont (on the Queens/Nassau border). Fair gates open Fridays and Thursday, April 27 at 5 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays at noon. Fairgoers should enter through gate 5 on the north side of Hempstead Turnpike, just east of the Cross Island Parkway. The fair can be reached by public transportation and is wheelchair accessible.
