Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are seeking the public's help in connection with a larceny which occurred in Elmont.
On Monday, March 13, at 1:10 a.m., a woman victim was walking in front of Western Beef on Dutch Broadway. She as approached by a female who stated that she had found a wallet containing $120,000. A second female approached and talked the victim and the first female into splitting the money three ways. A male then drove up and was introduced to the victim by the other subjects. The subjects decided to take the money to a local bank to make sure it was not counterfeit. The victim was asked to withdraw $3,000 from her personal account to ensure her share of the money. She was told to go into the bank to receive her share. The victim went into the bank only to find there was no money waiting for her.
Subject #1 is female, black, light skinned and 5'3" tall with a medium build.
Subject #2 is a female, black, and 5'3" tall with a medium build.
Subject #3 is male, black, and 6' tall with a heavy build.
