Elmont Memorial High School teachers have been selected as members of Who's Who Among American Teachers.

Teachers are selected nationwide by former students that are among the ranks of Who's Who Among American High School Students and The National Dean's List who have the privilege of making such nominations. For the members of these distinguished groups, a yearly publication is released containing personal data and acclamations of each member. These publications are then sent to superintendents and libraries across the nation in recognition of the accomplishments of these individuals. In addition to the publications, principals of the respective schools are personally notified of that school's award-winning teachers.
Who's Who Among America's Teachers celebrates the splendid work of teachers each year by granting membership to five percent of all educators in America. This award is a true testament of the hard work, devotion and love that each nominee pours in their preparation and approach to making impressions on America's youth year after year. Congratulations to each recipient who have invested the time, energy and passion to guiding the students of Elmont Memorial High School.
