The "Welcome to Elmont" Signs Project, sponsored by the Elmont Chamber of Commerce and the Elmont Community Coalition Council, at this time would like to thank the following Elmont residents for their kind donation to the "Welcome to Elmont" Signs Project. The money collected from these donors will be used to landscape and maintain each of the sign sites that we have established around Elmont. A heartfelt thanks go to:

If you would like to make a contribution to the Signs Project yourself, you may send your donations payable to "The 'Welcome to Elmont' Signs Project," and mail it to the care of the Elmont Chamber of Commerce, PO Box 030150, Elmont, NY 11003, Att.: Paul Sapienza, president.

In addition, orders for organization shingles from a number of Elmont-based community organizations have begun coming in, but space on the Elmont Community Home Board is still available. The Elmont Home Board is located at the corner of Hempstead Turnpike and Oakley Avenue. Orders have so far been placed by and for:

The American Legion Post 1033 of Elmont

The Elmont Cardinals Football Club

The Elmont Jewish Center

The Elmont North Little League

The Order of the Sons of Italy in America

The Rotary Club International of Franklin Square and Elmont

You can view these latest additions to our Home Board very soon. Be sure to make a point to stop at the Elmont Home Board and have a look.

If your Elmont-based community organization would like to order a shingle to proudly display its name and insignia on the Elmont Home Board, please make your payment of $100 to the "Welcome to Elmont" Signs Project and fill out the order form below and mail it in to the address shown on it. The "Welcome to Elmont" Signs Project reserves the right to edit or refuse to display offensive content on any shingle. Any questions you may have about placing an order will be answered by calling 352-5232 or 328-2036.
