The Woman's Club meeting on Nov. 8 was our annual dessert card party. Meeting was called to order and Lea Olynciw, recording secretary read the minutes. Reports followed: Jo Wood, Ways and Means chairperson informed us that our Nov. 3 trip to the Bay Way Art Theater to see the musical Big was very enjoyable and profitable. Our thanks to Jo who worked so hard to get a full bus.

Edith Grant reminded members that April 24, 2000 she will be planning a trip to Atlantic City.

Eleanor Kaupp, chairperson for the day advised us that merchants and members were so generous donating raffle prizes her basement looked like a store. It was quite a job transporting all these gifts to the VFW Hall where we meet. Thanks to her husband, Henry who was so generous with his muscle and his time. Thank you letters will be mailed to all the merchants and our thanks to all members who made it all possible. Lottie Nowomlynski, Eleanore and Anna Re, Helen Burnick, Ruth Barber, Jo DeMarco, Norma Snedeker, Antointte Virgilo, Mickey Hesselbach, Ann Puglisi and all the ladies who baked those great cakes. I hope I didn't forget anyone. It was truly a combined effort. Great job Eleanor.

Our Christmas party will be the next meeting on Dec. 13. Members please bring a $5 grab bag gift.
