The Sewanhaka High School Future Business Leaders of America recently competed at the State Conference held in Rochester, New York. In addition to the state honors awarded to numerous Sewanhaka students, the conference recognized the Sewanhaka FBLA program as one of the top 13 chapters in the entire state. The Business Education Department proudly announced that the following FBLA members earned awards at the State Conference.

First Place - Jeff St. Clair, Keyboarding Applications.

Second Place - Zara Northover - Introduction to Impromptu Speaking.

Second Place - Jeff St. Clair - Introduction to Business Communications.

Fourth Place - Anna Sampogna - Principles of Marketing.

Fourth Place - Karen Kielczewski - Machine Transcription.

Fourth Place - Entrepreneurship - Anthony Antonelli, Anna Sampogna, Patricia-Ann Vierling.

Thirteenth Place - Outstanding Chapter of the Year - Sewanhaka High School.

Jeff St. Clair will be representing New York State at the FBLA National Competitions to be held in Chicago in July.
