    The Carey varsity baseball team pulled off one of their biggest wins ever knocking off league leader and 1998 County Finalist Garden City 4-2 in a tremendously exciting game. The Seahawks took a 2-0 lead in the second inning on a double by Mike Bongiorno and singles by Gaspare Tumminello and Terry Huang, but Garden City tied it up in the third. In the fifth, Carey went ahead for good on singles by Donald Capriglione and Gary Novello, an error and a sacrifice fly by Bongiorno. FULL STORY
