Learn this boating season to skipper a boat safely. Sewanhaka Power Squadron is offering this new safe boating class once again because of the great response we had in 1998. Learn to skipper a boat safely and don't become one of the tragedies that we read about in our local waters. You can "Boat Smart" by taking this 4 week (8 hour) course. Class starts on Monday, June 7 at 7:30 to 10 p.m. at the Herricks Community Center, Shelter Rock Road.

This United States Power Squadron course will provide you with essential safety information for every type of boater. After successful completion you will be eligible for New York State Certification and power squadron membership giving you the ability to further advance your boating education. You may also be eligible for a discount from your insurance company.
