Rita was a ballerina with the Metropolitan Opera and a communicant of St. Catherine of Sienna RC Church. Wife of the late John R. Mother of Chris Palinski, Marie Scapperotti and Thomas O'Brien. Grandmother of five. Aunt of several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by nine siblings. Arrangements were made by the Krauss Funeral Home, Franklin Square.
