John Andrew Kowell Jr., of Elmont, died on March 21, 1999. He graduated from Andrew Jackson High School and attended Queens College. He was a retired salesman and past member of the NYS National Guard. Husband of Beatrice. Brother of the late Dorothy Schade (Ernest). Uncle of Debbie, Steven, Linda (Steven R.) and Michael (Rosalie). Granduncle of Dianne, Glenn Aubrey, Danielle, Christofer and Derek. Arrangements were made by the Yadley & Pinel Funeral Home, Sag Harbor. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew's RC Church.
