On Feb. 8 The Woman's Club met at the VFW Hall on Lincoln Road for its Valentine's Day meeting. Get well wishes to our Chairperson Norma Snedeker, who was too ill to attend. Also, get well wishes to Alberta Vacirca and to Flo Carway. Flo is also celebrating her birthday this month.

Jo Schlosser, 1st vice president is also chairing our St. Patrick's Day Luncheon. She is taking reservations and planning a fun day. Mr. LaRosa will be at the keyboard playing our favorite Irish tunes. This meeting is scheduled for March 8.

Edith Grant was taking reservations for the April 26 Atlantic City bus trip to Showboat Casino. Checks due next meeting.

Our annual White Elephant Sale will take place on April 12 meeting. Members, please remember to bring in your donations. Remember your trash may be someone else's treasure. Eleanor Kaupp will be chairing this fund raiser.

Highlights of this meeting was our program speaker. A volunteer fireman, Carl Gerrato, did a great job reminding us of all fire prevention care for the home, which we tend to forget.

Also, he gave us advice on how to handle emergencies and how our volunteer firemen take care of these situations. He made us feel very confident that our department is always there for us.

It was a very rewarding meeting. Hope we get a good turnout for that meeting on March 8. New members are always welcome.
