I am writing to you on behalf of my brother Greg Becker. He has served New York State as an assemblyman since January 1983. Greg is currently running for the United States Congress to serve his country and you, the constituents of the 4th District.

I am proud of my brother Greg for taking the opportunity to serve the people of the United States. However, I am deeply proud of him for many other reasons.

Greg has always been concerned about how he uses our tax dollars. As an assemblyman, he has driven to and from Albany, instead of flying. He has stayed in a motel instead of renting an apartment. He has even been known to spend the night in his office. When Greg has had to relocate his local assembly office, he has used family and friends instead of hiring a moving company.

The corruption and degradation in Washington has disturbed Greg for a long time. Some years ago he discussed with me his desire to serve in the Congress. "Greg, you are too honest and kind to go to Washington. I fear for you, I said." To which he replied, "Anne, that is the reason why I want to run for Congress. They need people like me."

But, I am most proud of my brother Greg because his family, Tina, Stephanie and Allison, always come first. Many times he has driven home from Albany to attend an event important to his family only to drive back the same day. Greg is aware of his family's needs, thus Greg knows and appreciates the needs of your family. His vote in Washington will be for all our families.

I have always been proud to be Greg's sister, but because I live in Virginia I am unable to vote for him on Nov. 3. Please, vote in my place and vote for my brother Greg Becker. You will never regret it. God Bless You.
