In a well played game, Frank Connolly's Aztec (Gino's Pizza) and Tom Englander's Sioux (Rampart Brokerage) fought to a 1-1 tie. For the Sioux, Robert Ames scored on a breakaway. David Carson and Jimmy Martinez provided support at midfield. J.B. Reyes was solid on defense and Matt Kempel was strong in goal.

Tom Englander's Sioux (Rampart Brokerage) defeated Ed Colosuono's Inca (Greve, Schmidt & Trageser) by a score of 5-3. For the Sioux it was a team effort as goals were scored by each of the following players: Ken Wenhen (35 yarder from a defensive position), Eric Gallipoli (penalty kick), Michael Englander, Robert Ames and Edwin Mulhein.

Mike Indovino Kiowa (Dr. Smollen, DDS) played Steven Ernst Apache (Vincent-s Clam Bar) to a 4-4 tie. For the Kiowa Christina Macchio scored three goals and Katie Johansen scored once. Excellent defense was played by Nicole Ondovino and Kate Rennie. The team showed a great team effort. For the Apache, Jessica Samms scored three times and Jennifer Garcia scored also. Strong midfield from Danielle Marisi. jessica Frisini played well on defense and April Eggens was excellent in goals.

On a summer-like morning Tony LoFaso's Algonquins (Eye Deal Optical) faced a tough match against Anthony Coker's Cherokees (Coral House), in this the first game of the day in the Indian's division. For the Algonquins: great overall playing by Sean O'Donoghue and Doug Quednau, accompanied by smart defensive playing from Bryan Nieto, Joshua Rosenfeld and Andrew Sarrapede with improved play from Brandon Mitchell and Alex Fernandez, made for a great game. For the Cherokees: Erik Velsquez and Shomari Dias provided great offense with support from Ryan Dowling at midfield, Blade Bowman at defense and Justin Armstrong who provided all around good play.

The second game of the day saw Paul Dougan's Oneida (Pet Supplies Plus) play against Anthony Scovazzo's Kiowa (BagelCraft) in a tough match-up. For the Oneida: the offense was boosted by good plays from Christopher St. Amand, John Dugal, Michael Dougan, Gerard Hugel and Conor Callahan. Coach Dougan exclaimed the whole team played very well. For the Kiowa: great offensive plays were provided by Michael Bonilla, Michael Barhold and Anthony Mongelluzzo, with strong defensive playing from Jonathan Appel and Matt Ernst accompanied by Joseph Diverniero who played excellent in goal.

The final game was an intense match between Vito Cassata's Hurons (McKeon Electric) and Don Lucas' Shawnee (Mutual Engraving Co.). For the Hurons: great all around playing was provided by Chris Callanan, Joseph Cruz, Richard Flower, Antonio Martinez, Nicholas Squiciarino and David Vogel. For the Shawnee: great all around playing was provided by Joseph Allam, Christopher Kuber, Jerry Machado, William Myers, Jonathan Sagan and John Zanca.

Makeup May 13: Kelly Delace's Inca (B & O Furniture Co.) vs. Glen Boehmer's Shawnee (Sentinel Printing). For the Inca, Rosemary Castillo, Colleen Hawley and Jessica Spinelli scored. Jessica Delace and Allison Kleshefsky played good defense. For the Shawnee, Stefanie DiGregorio scored. Dana Kharoula was super all over the field. Jeana Hockenjos played well and Kriston Keanna hustled all over the field.

May 16: Glen Boehmer's Shawnee ( Sentinel Printing) vs. Regina's Todd's Kickapoo (Ark Realtors): Stefanie DiGregorio and Melanie Boehmer scored and moved the ball very well. Madeline Prush just missed a goal off the post. Xenia Reyes was outstanding in goal and caused problems on the field for the other team. For the Kickapoo, Gabriella Petralia, Bridget Todd, Erin Keaveney and Monique McIntosh scored. Melinda DiGiovanna played great defense and as goalkeeper. Jillian Carucci, Dana Jones, Deja Cartolano and Bernadette Roughneen all played well.

Scott Bank's Shoshone (Joseph A. Lister, Inc.) vs. Kelly Delace's Inca (B & O Furniture) 8: For the Shoshone, Danielle Macchio scored. Lauren Hamill and Jenna D'Alessandro was super in defense. Jessica Nealon was super in goal. For the Inca, Jessica Spinelli, Colleen Hawley and Rosemary Castillo scored.

Papoose 1 (Allstate Inc. The Capaldo Agency)

Bob Hugel's Pawnee played George DiGiovanni's Pima. For the Pawnee goals were scored by Michael Diverniero, Strong midfield play by Ray Hugel and Matt Glickman. Good overall effort by Danny Lazo and Matt Turner.

Sun., May 17: Marylen DeStefano's Zuni played Bob Hugel's Pawnee. DeStefano's Zuni played a very close game with Hugel's Pawnee. Scoring for the Zuni was Bryan DeStefano. Helping out offensively were Jon-Erik Borgersen and Jason Cruse. Fine defensive plays were made by Matthew Culley and Ian Kurs. Doing a great job in the goal was Keith Bertolino. Last game of season for "Pawnee's. Excellent all around performance by Matt Dougan. Strong play by Joseph Mandara and Kyle Mills. Dedication and added boost from Danny "Stitches" Niebler.

May 8: Dave Bowman's Ute (Howard E. Williams Inc. Funeral Home) played Bill Delace's Kickapoo (Palm Cafe). For the Kickapoo Michelle Delace and Amanda Conto both scored. Playing outstanding in offense were Alisa Palumbo and Devin Hagendorn. Ashley Cochrane, Katheleen Espey and Lindsay Perry played great in defense and Denise Aldersilen did a good job as keeper.

May 17: Ed Flower's Chickashaw (Gum Ying) played Dave Bowman's Ute (Howard E. Williams Inc. Funeral Home). For the Ute, Elizabeth Walsh and Lenicia Jenkins played well in offense and Jennifer McCarthy played a good defensive game.
