Norman E. Morrison, 82, fomerly of West Hempstead, died on March 31, 1998. He was born in Woodhaven, Queens and attended Washington and Lee University and graduated from St. Lawrence University (Brooklyn Law School). He was a veteran of the US Army, 388th Anti-Aircraft Artillary Air Warning Battalion, during WWII, serving in the Asiatic Pacific (Ioshima and Okinawa). He also served in Korea.

Mr. Morrison practiced law in Brooklyn and later in West Hempstead. He was a member of the Nassau Bar Association, Robert Van Cott American Legion Post #1139, was a lifetime member of the Wantagh Morton Masonic Lodge #63 F.&A.M. and was a judge advocate.

He is survived by his wife Audrey (Searfoss); his children, Clayton Taylor Morrison and Barbara Morrison Kelly; his grandchildren, Jennifer Jeanne Kelly and William Searfoss Kelly; and his son-in-law Edward J. Kelly and daughter-in-law Jacqueline O'Reilly Morrison. Arrangements were made by the Krauss Funeral Home, Franklin Square. Interment Nassau Knolls Cemetery.
