Ed Colasuono's Athletics (McKeon Electric) defeated Don King's Phillies (Roslyn Savings Bank) 6-2. For the A's, Michael Colasuono tripled and earned the victory on the mound while Jimmy Conto added a triple, Michael Englander stole three bases and Robert Hockenjos did a fine job behind the plate. For the Phillies, Jimmy Daly struck out 16 batters, catcher Reagan King singled and Ryan Skoulatos played well in the field.

Bill Clohessy's Giants (Mutual Engraving) stopped Phil Napoli's Devil Rays (Gum Ying) 17-2. For the Giants, Kevin Cloghessy and Rocco DeVito had three hits each while Chris Lynch and Robbie Davis each scored three runs. For the Devil Rays, Eric Gallipoli smacked a two-run homer, Jesse Cartalano and Brenden Cody singled while Robert Victoria and John Napoli both pitched well.
