Mike Indovino's Kiowa (Dr. Smollon, D.D.S.) defeated Mike Garone's Oneida (Dr. Werblin and Dr. Meskin) by a score of 7-0. For the Oneida, Michelle Bozzi, Alissa Feldman, Danielle Scovazzo and Michelle Garone all played a good all around game. For Kiowa, the entire team played a well executed game. Katie Johansen scored four goals. Ashley Schriefer, Kate Rennie and Norma Velasquez each scored a goal.
Although undermanned Tony Lofaso's Algonquin (Eye Deal Optical) played hard against Anthony Scovazzo's Kiowa (Bagelcraft) For the Algonquin, the day saw good overall efforts by Kevin D'Angelo, Douglas Quednau and Brian Nieto along with a never quitting defense played by Josh Rosenfeld and Alex Fernandez. For the Kiowa: good defensive plays by Anthony Scovazzo and Michael Barhold with Matt Ernst in goal and Jonathan Appel in offense made for a good game.
The second game played saw Anthony Coker's Cherokees (Coral House) play a close battle against Vito Cassata's Hurons (McKeon Electric). For the Hurons, Kevin Walsh had a good day in offense, with good all around play by David Vogel, Joe Tamburello and Nick Squiciarino. For the Cherokee: good all around plays were turned in by Anthony Coker, Blade Bowman, Shomari Dias and Erik Valasquez all of whom play well in various positions.
4/18: Regina Todd's Kickapoo (Ark Realtors) vs Glen Boehmer's Shawnee (Sentinel Printing Co.) For the Kickapoo, Gabriella Petralia and Bridget Todd scored. Rebecca Boettcher, Deja Cartolano and Monique McIntosh all played an outstanding game. For the Shawnee, Stefanie DiGregorio and Kristen Keanna scored. Dena Kharoufa and Xenia Reyes worked the ball to the outside and Tiffany Frank worked hard with multiple opportunities.
4/18: Kelly DeLace's Ince (B & O Furniture Co.) vs Toni Ann Centrella's Pawnee (Farmdale Farms), the Inca played well. For the Pawnee Luisa Migliaccio scored with an assist from Jennifer Snyder and Victoria Centrella, Katelyn Finnegan and Nicole Irizarry had great all around games.
