A great deal can be said about the holiday season, that much has been proven in the past by generations of songwriters, story tellers and bards of all shapes, all sizes, and levels of renown.
Some would say, in fact, that too much has been said about the holiday season, that we've gone far afield of its original meaning.
But as Christmas and Chanukah approach, and as a new year beckons on the horizon, we feel that it's important to pause and in our own humble way, offer you, our readers, our sincere good tidings.
Without you there would be no reason for us to be involved in this enterprise, your community newspaper. Without your loyalty as a reader, without your insights, your advice, and the stories you live and have told us about, we'd be little more than a whisper on the wind.
