At this year’s Robbins Lane Carnival, third grader Emma won a raffle to be ‘Principal for the Day.’
She arrived at the school in time to make morning announcements, and said she was “happy to say Words of Wisdom over the loudspeaker – what a great experience.”
Principal of Robbins Lane School, Dr. Sharyn Goodman, joined Emma in observing Ms. Maietta’s 2nd grade Italian class, where she was teaching the students about the Euro.
Dr. Goodman and Emma also visited second graders who were in the gym playing treasure hunt, Ms. Ronzetti’s first grade class where they were learning about descriptive words, and also to Ms. Petrucco’s kindergarten class to celebrate their writing.
“I had such a wonderful time spending the day with Dr. Goodman and visiting all the teachers and classrooms,” Emma said. “I have to say it was the best day of my life at Robbins Lane Elementary.”
