Players in Syosset Baseball Association only will be eligible to participate at the location in the following designated age groups.

Registration forms will be available online at www.syossetbaseball.org along with local retailers throughout the town. Fill out the form completely and bring it with you to the competition site on April 10.
Each participant can only participate in one local venue, thus you can’t participate in any other pitch, hit and run locations throughout the region.
No metal spikes are allowed during the portion of the competition.
Players will be scored on accuracy of pitching at a 45-foot distance (all age groups at a designated target), accuracy of hitting and for distance off a tee and speed of running.
There will be a winner for each category, pitching, hitting and running as well as individual winners for overall in each age group.
All events are individually scored and converted to a total point score. Participants will compete in each of the three components and accumulate a total score based on his/her performance.
The first place all-around, pitching, hitting and running champions in each age group will advance to sectional competition.
From the sectional competition, the winners have a chance to advance to Team Championships which will be held during June at the local field (either CitiField or Yankee Stadium). Last year we had one of our players, Aaron Lafazan, advance to Yankee Stadium.
Those Team Championship winners will go on to advance at the National Finals to be held in Anaheim, California, at the 2010 MLB All-Star Game.
We welcome any manager, coach or parent who would like to volunteer their time for this exciting event. If you can volunteer your time during the event, please e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
All participating players will take home their scorecard as well as a series of commemorative baseball cards.
All winners will be announced after the competition has concluded and scores are tallied to be reported to Major League Baseball.
We look forward to all eligible players participating in this fun-filled Major League Baseball event sponsored by their main sponsor, Aquafina.
