Syosset Central School District is proud of the Syosset High School Class of 2010 graduates and their record of academic excellence.
This year, 541 high school students graduated from Syosset High School, including three students in out-of-district placements.
Of all in-district graduates, 99 percent will pursue full-time higher education. Further, Syosset High School highlights include 40 Ivy League acceptances, 4 National Merit finalists, 3 Intel Semi-finalists and 17 winners of New York State Scholarships of Academic Excellence, five Robert C. Byrd Scholarships, 785 total recipients of scholarships, 272 honors recipients and 33 highest honors recipients.
Last month, the class of 2010 took a total of 1,243 A.P. exams. Throughout their high school academic career, this year’s graduates took a total of 2,085 A.P. exams, the highest number in Syosset High School history.
The entire community looks forward to the many great things the class of 2010 will accomplish in the future.
