The Syosset Public Library will present an Elder Law workshop, which is presented by the Long Island Alzheimer’s Foundation, attorney Ann Carrozza will return to Syosset Library to give information about this important subject. The gastronomic tradition known as the Great Chefs of Long Island, to benefit the Family Service League, will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury. More than 40 outstanding restaurants will present their culinary best during an afternoon of decadent tastings and delicacies. There will be wonderful wines from choice vineyards to pair with selections. Early reservations are recommended. Tickets are $150 per person.
