Shopping Extravaganza

Includes vendors with jewelry, bath and body, beauty and cosmetics, home décor, crafts. Also include will be a bake sale, silent auction and raffles. Scholar-in-Residence

The community is invited at 9 a.m. for lectures by Rabbi Professor David Golinkin, Jericho Jewish Center’s Scholar-in-Residence. Professor Gilinkin has served as president of the Schechter Institute in Israel. He will bring his sizeable knowledge base, to address issues on halacha, Jewish law, his chosen field of expertise and will use his unique perspective to explain the differences between the goals of the Conservative movement in the United States and the goals of the Masorti movement in Israel. 430 North Broadway, Jericho. Glen Cove Junior Baseball Travel Team Tryouts

Seasons of Harmony Concert

Nancy Akron, Terry Putterman, Bobbi Foran, Jeanette Cottone, Pearl Mintzer, Judy DeMott and Sandy Sparber of Massapequa and Deena Garod of Seaford will be performing in “Seasons of Harmony.” The concert is presented by the Twin County Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines, International, and is under the direction of Connie Kash. The concert presents songs for all seasons in a delightful show that includes comedy, warmth and beautiful music. Also on the bill are special guests, The Syosset High School Adelettes and the AfterGloWorms. The show will be presented one time only at 2 p.m. at the Farmingdale-Wantagh Jewish Center, 3710 Woodbine Ave., Wantagh. The guest speaker will be Dr. Stanley Klein, a professor in the Political Science and International Studies Department at C.W. Post College.
