David Friedman, MD, cardiologist at Plainview Hospital (part of the North Shore-LIJ Health System), will be speaking about heart health and taking questions related to this at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library on Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. Heart disease is one of the biggest causes of death for men and woman in the United States. Friedman will be discussing prevention of heart disease and ways people can help keep their hearts strong and healthy.
