SAGE Meeting 

The next meeting of SAGE (Senior Adult Group Enthusiasts) will take place at 10:30 a.m. at the Woodbury Jewish Center, 200 South Woods Rd., Woodbury. Celebrate Chanukah with  Miracles At The Movies, a cinematic excursion into Chanukah’s eternal warmth and magical light, led by Rabbi Raphael Adler. Latkes (and maybe sufganiyot) will be served. Free Veterinary Lectures

Once a month through December. Long Island Cat Fanciers sponsors free lectures given by top local veterinarians on topics relevant to dog and cat owners. Muttontown Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

The Fellowship provides an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie, with talks presented by intelligent, enlightening and non-dogmatic speakers who come from the entire spectrum of the arts, history and sciences. This is followed by coffee and an informal discussion circle, held in the turn-of-the-18th century farmhouse in a bucolic setting.
