Councilman Chris J. Coschignano
Town of Oyster Bay Councilman Chris J. Coschignano will be honored by the North Syosset-Woodbury Republican Committee at the organization's Annual Lincoln Day Dinner on March 25, at The Fox Hollow Inn in Woodbury.
Coschignano, who is the executive committeeman of the local Republican Committee and also a member of the Nassau County Republican Committee, is being recognized for years of dedicated efforts with the Republican Committee and his ongoing commitment to the advancement of the general welfare of the community. "Chris has long been a staunch advocate of the Syosset-Woodbury area and always fights hard for Town residents," Republican Club President Karen Underwood said.
Coschignano was first elected by the residents of the Town of Oyster Bay in 2001 to serve on the Town Board. The Oyster Bay Town Board represents the governing body and lawmaking authority for the 300,000 residents of the town.
The committee will also present their Humanitarian Award to Warren Church. Warren is a long-standing civic leader in the Syosset Community, the past president of Syosset Rotary and a director of the Syosset Chamber of Commerce.
Cocktails will be served at 6 p.m. and dinner will follow. The cost is $90 per person.
