All smiles as they announce plans for the Trail Relay are Relay co-Director Charlie Hamilton, Carter, DeLuca, Farrell & Schmidt Managing Partner Ray Farrell, Runner's Edge Proprietor Bob Cook, and Relay co-Director Carl Grossbard.

The Greater Long Island Running Club is pleased to announce that the law firm of Carter, DeLuca, Farrell & Schmidt has joined with the Club's Racing Teams and The Runner's Edge running specialty store in Farmingdale to stage the 11th annual Winter Trail Relay at Bethpage State Park on Sunday morning, Feb. 21.

The Relay starts at 10 a.m., and - thanks to the generosity of Carter, De Luca, Farrell & Schmidt and The Runner's Edge - entry to this event is free to pre-registered members of the Greater Long Island Running Club, and only $5 per runner for non-members and GLIRC members who wait until race day to sign up.

Cash awards of $75 will be presented to the first place men's, women's and co-ed open, masters and senior master's teams. Every entrant will be presented with a complimentary commemorative T-shirt. The GLIRC Field Kitchen will once again be on hand to provide everyone with a post-run spread of homemade cookies, soup, and muffins.

GLIRC's Charlie Hamilton and Carl Grossbard will put the whole show together.

For information and entry forms call Linda at the GLIRC office at 349-7646. Logo
