Opinion

Recently, one of the hot topics in the news has been: Who, if anyone, was responsible for the death of the Wal-Mart employee who was trampled to death on Black Friday. The answer is and has been obvious. The customers who knocked him down and trampled on him are the only ones who are responsible. They had to have felt him under their feet or against their toes as they knocked him down. They had to have felt him under their feet or against their toes as they stepped on him. Not one of them stopped to check.

The police and DA's office should use the security surveillance tape to attempt to identify them and arrest them, try them and convict them of murder for their reckless, depraved indifference to life. This is probably the best way to ensure it never happens again.
