The 2009 Little League season is just around the corner and registration for the Jericho Athletic Association (JAA) Little League program has begun.

Registration for the 2009 Jericho Little League season will continue through Feb. 1. Children registered after Feb. 1 cannot be guaranteed a spot on a team roster.

Jericho Little League registration is open to all Jericho school district residents with children from kindergarten through sixth grade (seventh graders born between May 1 and December 31, 1996 are also eligible).

Placement requests cannot be honored. You can register your child for the 2009 season by going to www.sportssignup.com/Jericho-Athletic-Association-Online-Registration.start.

For the first time, registration can be done online and can be paid via credit card. In addition, volunteers can register to coach online. Fees for the 2009 Little League season are:

$138 (includes a $3 fee for the JAA AED Maintenance Program)

$50 late fee for those registered after February 1.

The 2009 Jericho Little League season will kick off with the annual baseball parade and Opening Day on Saturday, April 4. The JAA looks forward to seeing you on the field for the 2009 Jericho Little League season!
