The Arson/Bomb Squad is investigating a fire of undetermined cause that occurred on Dec. 21 at 2:30 p.m. in Jericho.

At that time, according to detectives, Jericho Fire Department personnel were dispatched to 25 South Service Road, where they discovered a three-story commercial building on fire. The building, locked and unoccupied, suffered severe fire, smoke and water damage on the second floor, where the fire originated.

A total of five area fire departments with over 100 firefighters responded to extinguish the fire, which is not considered suspicious. The Nassau County Fire Marshal's Office is continuing the investigation.
