A series of thrilling playoff games-some interrupted by stormy skies-concluded another great season for SYAC Girls Softball this month.

The SYAC Senior Division Final on June 20 brought the season to a close with a breathtaking 5-3 victory for Mr. Pickle over Inhale Yoga. The previous night, the Junior Division title went to HMG Radical X-Rays, with a nail-biting 10-9 win over The Hot Shots. Also that night, Bellstar Wireless topped Warriors in Pink by a score of 23-15 to capture the Pony Division championship. Game highlights and photos are found at www.syacgs.org. The Instructional League celebrated its season with Trophy Night on June 16.

The SYAC Board thanks the more than 100 volunteer coaches and sponsors, as well as players and families, who all contributed to such a successful season. SYAC had 36 softball teams competing this spring in four age divisions, ranging from kindergarten through eighth grade. In addition, SYAC had four travel teams in league play in the softball division of the NJBL.
