Syosset Basketball League coaches Jon Halpern and Donny Shouldice guided their team to the top spot. The boys competed against 16 other second- and third-grade teams. The finals were a showdown against coach Gindi's team. The game remained close till the very end when Griffin Halpern hit 2 foul shots to seal the victory. The team was led by the tremendous offensive play of Brett Stein, and Harrison Shouldice. The defense was led by the quick Jason Wasserman, Michael Collet, Jason Beck, Matty Liebowitz, Jon Kim and Mike Portugal.
