Dylan Jaloza, a freshman at Syosset High School, recently completed the 2008 Walt Disney World half marathon. Jaloza raised almost $10,000 for the Children's Tumor Foundation (CTF). He also raised awareness for CTF, a nonprofit foundation dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by the neurofibromatoses (NF). NF is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow along various types of nerves and can affect non-nervous tissues such as skin and bones. NF causes tumors to grow anywhere on and/or in the body.
