Muttontown Couple Accused of Keeping Slaves Released on Bail
The Muttontown couple accused of keeping two Indonesian women as slaves in their home were released on over $4 million bail earlier this week. Their release was granted after they met a long list of requirements set by Senior U.S. District Court Judge Thomas Platt.

Cooperstown Team: Run and Fun
The 2007 entry from Syosset to the 96-team Cooperstown Dreams Park tournament in Cooperstown, NY, had a great run representing Jericho. This team as previously reported had won last year's summer National Junior Championship and has been practicing since January getting ready for the tournament.

Jericho Jay Sox Make Jericho Baseball History
The Jericho Jay Sox baseball team made history this summer by becoming the first Jericho baseball team ever to qualify for the renowned Plainedge Baseball Tournament playoffs. Jericho continued its banner season by advancing to the championship game of the tournament before finally succumbing to a tough East Meadow squad.
