Syosset Fire District Announces Contractors for New Station 2 Project
A public meeting was held Monday evening to announce the lowest qualified bidders for the construction of the Syosset Fire District's Station 2 firehouse along Woodbury Road in Woodbury. The project, designed by architect and Riverhead resident Martin Sendlewski, was put out for bid last month; the bid opening was held on April 10.

Jericho Youth Football League Registration for Tackle, Flag and Cheerleading
The next set of registration dates for the fall 2006 flag and tackle football programs are set to take place on Monday night, April 24 and Tuesday night, April 25 from 7 until 9 p.m. at the Jackson Elementary School cafeteria. The flag program is open to boys and girls ages 7 -13 years of age who will be in second- through eighth-grade this upcoming fall, and the registration fee is $125.
