The team with the highest grade point average in its sport is declared the Scholar/Athlete State Champion. Jim Tolle, past president of NYSPHSAA, awarded three Jericho teams with the State Championship banner at the March 23, board of education meeting. The Jericho High School Boys Varsity Basketball Team, Boys Varsity Bowling Team and Girls Varsity Bowling Team all received the prestigious honor.
