The Syosset Strikers U-7 boys soccer team went undefeated finishing with a perfect record of 8-0 in capturing the indoor division championship.

Syosset needed a win against a previously undefeated Franklin Square team to capture this first-place finish. The Syosset Strikers opened the scoring with two booming goals by Griffin Laine and Griffin Halpern to take the lead 2-0.

The Strikers defense shut down the powerful Franklin Square team and prevented them from scoring. The Strikers speedy and powerful defense was led by Hunter Kirsch, Harrison Shouldice and Andrew Kravitz. The midfield was controlled by Jake Starr and Jeremy Wolf.

The Strikers victory was sealed by two additional goals by David Tell and Matt Liebowitz with a final score of 4-0.

Frank Laine and Craig Kirsch, coaches of the Strikers, said, "The team provided a tremendous amount of excitement and energy, with a balanced attack of offense, defense and goaltending culminating in the first-place finish for the championship in their division."
