Syosset Pee Wee Black Wins Superbowl
Syosset Pee Wee Black Football beat major rival North Babylon to win the 2005 Superbowl Championship. Syosset Black controlled the game from the opening series, marching to the goal line only to be stopped a foot short. But the swarming defense held and stopped North Babylon for a safety with Jake Mitchnick, Richie Prestegaard, and Vinnie Speranza leading the charge. Upon getting the ball back, Syosset controlled the clock with a steady diet of off-tackle runs and gashes up the middle by Cole Samaroo, and Perry "Crazy Legs" Lehrhoff, courtesy of gaping holes opened by linemen Jack Parlo, Derek Napolitano, Jonah DiMaggio, Evan Lowitt, Ben Wachtel and Eric Aronson.
