Jericho Resident Wins Tennis Tournament
During the Thanksgiving holiday, Ashley Sandler, a Jericho resident, won the Girls 12 and Under Level One Tennis Tournament at Robbie Wagner Tournament Training in Glen Cove. As the second seed, Sandler received a bye and then won four consecutive matches without losing a set beating the number one seed in the finals, 6-1, 6-3.

Nawrocki Named Centennial Men's Basketball Player of the Week
After averaging 17.5 points per game in his first two Centennial Conference contests, Johns Hopkins junior forward Danny Nawrocki, a resident of Syosset, was named Centennial Conference Player of the Week in men's basketball on Tuesday.
