As the students of the Syosset School District savor the final days of summer, the administration, faculty, and staff are readying the classrooms, the schedules, and themselves to begin school on Tuesday, Sept. 6.

"I would like to extend a warm welcome to our new and returning students, staff and administrators," said Dr. Carole Hankin, superintendent of the Syosset School District. "The Syosset Central School District has a proud legacy of providing excellence in education to all its students. We look forward to teaching students all areas of academics while offering them an opportunity to pursue their interests and talents. The continued support of the board of education, the community, and talented staff is a benefit to all our new students and is instrumental as we prepare to meet the new, challenging and exciting standards in the upcoming school year."
