SYAC Girls Softball recently announced that tryouts for fall ASA travel softball teams will be held later this month. SYAC will field teams at U10, U12 and U14 age levels (according to age at 1/1/05).

League play begins September 18 and runs until early November. Games are played on Syosset fields and in nearby towns. Games are usually Sunday afternoons and are doubleheaders. Practices will be held as well.

Tryouts will be held August 18, 19, 22, 23, 24 at 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the softball fields behind Syosset High School. Girls should come ready to play, and it is advisable to make at least two sessions. For more info, visit www.syacgs.org and click on "travel."
