Adam Weser, an eighth grade student at Jericho Middle School, recently finished first in his age bracket at the Super National Chess Tournament, which was held in Nashville, Tennessee and was named national champion. FULL STORY
News: Syosset Fire Department Mourns Passing of Mark Mianulli The Syosset Volunteer Fire Department recently announced the untimely passing of ex-Chief Mark Mianulli. Mianulli was 51 years old and had been a member of the SFD's Woodbury Fire Company No. 1 for 21 years over the course of the last three decades, including serving as Chief of Department of the SFD from 1986 to1987.

Sports: Jericho Fifth and Sixth Grade Lacrosse News
The Jericho fifth and sixth grade lacrosse team will roll into the Memorial Day weekend break as they completed two consecutive key victories against the towns of Three Village and Massapequa. These two wins were well deserved from hard practice and helped the team improve their Spring season team record to four wins, one loss and one tie. There are two home games left to the season.
