I am writing to publicly thank everyone who came out to vote in this week's election. A larger than usual turnout generally is helpful in giving the board of education a better picture of what the community is thinking. I greatly appreciate the support that the community showed for both my position on the board, and for our students' educational budget. I look forward to continuing to work with the community to build upon Jericho's reputation for educational excellence.

In addition, I would like to offer a special thank you to all of the community and staff members who took an active role in supporting my re-election, whether through endorsements, letter-writing, posting of signs, or dispelling false rumors and replacing them with facts. Your strength and energy were invaluable during a challenging campaign season. Thank you for everything you do for this district.
