The Jericho Youth Football League will be holding its annual evaluations for children interested in playing flag football for the fall 2005 season. The evaluations will be conduced by Jeff Falk and Steve Brett, along with coaches and volunteers from the league. The children will be evaluated based upon their speed, agility, passing and catching skills and overall athletic ability. This evaluation will be conducted at the Jackson Elementary School on May 18, 19, 23 and 24 from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m.

Anyone who is already registered should have received a time and date to appear at Jackson School. Please adhere to that date and time. If your child is interested in playing football in the flag program and you have not registered, please come down on one of these evenings and the league will have a representative available to answer your questions and register your child.

The fall 2005 season is already shaping up to be the best and most successful season yet. The tackle program has generated a great amount of interest. Many children have signed up to participate in it for the fall. The league officials have many special events and surprises in store for the children playing flag football in order to make the football experience in Jericho both educational and enjoyable. In the event you wish to speak to either Jeff Falk or Steve Brett about the flag or tackle programs, please contact the Jericho Youth Football League at JYFL@optonline.net for further information or contact Jeff Falk directly at 485-2729 or Steve Brett at 297-1472.
